To continue providing our award winning service we require a Digital Content Creator to support our lead acquisition, engagement, retention and brand awareness objectives.

As an experienced Digital Content Creator you will already have the ability to deliver quality, engaging and interesting content, understand how this can be re-purposed to suit a number of different channels, along with having a fantastic eye for design and naturally excellent written and verbal communications skills.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in representing our brand and ensuring Equilibrium’s message consistently resonates with both our clients and prospects.

As this is a new role, you can expect lots of variety but ultimately our new Digital Content Creator will help deliver the firm’s marketing plan through a range of media. That may mean creating digital content such as videos, blogs and podcasts, to be used across a variety of channels to increase our reach.

Our new Digital Content Creator will be part of a marketing team responsible for all design, marketing and PR for clients and internal communications.

Given that we work in a regulated industry, there are requirements for ensuring our content is accurate and compliant. However that certainly doesn’t mean things are boring, as we also like to have fun. With this in mind, a sense of humour is a must as whilst some of our content needs to be serious, we do like to have a laugh too! One minute you might be creating a serious presentation on investment performance for a client briefing, then the next you may be recording a video for an upcoming event that will give you plenty of scope for creativity, imagination and fun.

Our Digital Content Creator will have no issues displaying;

  • Expertise across a broad range of digital media

  • Flair for what looks good and more importantly, what doesn’t

  • Strong working knowledge of media/video/audio editing software - Adobe Creative Suite package especially Illustrator, Premier, Photoshop, After Effects and InDesign. Our new website is Wordpress-based, so experience producing content for similar sites would be beneficial, plus an understanding of Audacity or similar audio editing software.

  • The ability to communicate plans in a relaxed and easily digestible manner

  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and performing well under pressure

  • The ability to successfully manage projects and their own workload

  • A genuine passion for digital marketing

The person we need to take on this role will have;

  • Previous experience of producing and distributing engaging and interesting visual and audio content across a range of media, including webpages, videos, reports, presentations and podcasts

  • Experience of adapting material for various purposes, to maximise impact

  • Camera operating experience

  • The ability to record professional audio with lapel and shotgun mics

  • The ability to light a scene - particularly for interviews

  • Experience of taking ownership and managing end to end digital projects

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Extremely high standards

  • Off the scale attention to detail

Our new Digital Content Creator will have no trouble;

  • Translating key messages or concepts into solid proposals (with outline scripts and storyboards where appropriate)

  • Understanding the Equilibrium tone of voice and communicating as a “friendly expert”

  • Being authentic and real, we don’t want any phoneys

  • Displaying massive amounts of enthusiasm, energy, positivity, motivation and passion without exhausting those around you!

  • Being self-assured without being arrogant or pushyhanging tack without it sending you into a tailspin

  • Comfortable with change and a fast paced environment
